A Good LS begins with a Fair System:

DuckHUNT was not perfect from day 1, but through continuous improvements within the LS itself and past experience from other LSes, we've created one of the most robust Kill Point systems to accommodate both a casual and a hardcore player.

How it Works:

Our system is very simple and is maintained in an Excel spreadsheet. One (1) point per event (3hr). Coming for 120 out of 180 minutes (or 2 hours out of 3) will give you 0.66 point.

The only source of points is by providing service to the linkshell. Sorry, but if you're looking to buy your points, you can't, at least not in DuckHUNT.

A Transparent System:

Our DKP is always viewable online, anywhere with Internet access. All recordings are kept from Day 1 and are never removed from the online system. Should one get suspicious, they are always welcome to download the Excel sheet and do computations themselves.

We believe a transparent system not only brings honesty and simplicity, but also brings motivation to all Duckies when they know how far they are from their goal.

Anti-Inflation:

The most epic items obtainable within the scope of DuckHUNT events do not have a price tag. They only have a price floor. Whoa? Yes! Our best item in LS are obtained through a closed proxy bidding system just like Ebay. This keeps everyone's work equal and people are really paying for what the item is worth. You want the item earlier/first? Well you will have to bid higher and pay more points for it.

Cash Splits:

Gil is also split on anything that is cashable. We do not have an LS bank. Not that we don't want one, but for what? Just so the LS leader can get a relic? Nope! We split all gil as it becomes available. We split all ABC's down to 2 decimal places. You'd never miss out on anything or get jipped =)
