The DuckHUNT Family

DuckHUNT was created not to be LootHUNT, but to be a FriendHUNT! Well... we value having a good time just above everything else in this game. Over time, the LS has built many real-friendship and not just a loot and leave linkshell. It has become a way of life for many of us. More of a... chat room with pretty clothes than a video game. You know what I mean...

We don't have mini groups like other linkshells. You hop on vent, you are part of the family =) If you're excluded, you excluded yourself from the linkshell, and not us excluding you =) All we expect is a little bit respect for each other =) and knowing where to draw the line. Farting is consider acceptable on vent =) N-bomb... not really.

We even have a BlackBerry Messenger chat group =) Keep us entertained at work.

The DuckHUNT on Fenrir

We try to avoid all HNM's, just to stay away from competing with other linkshells. Overtime, we've built quite strong relationship with other linkshells. One of the well-known example is Magitek. We share (or I mean, just steal) their strategies and experience. Vryali (Magitek's Leader) is always at Mai back teaching me how to handle people-relation and linkshell politics.

We wanted DuckHUNT to be somewhat a friendly linkshell to all other linkshells, and not be seen as a competition or.. "got to beat them" attitude type relationship.

DuckHUNT's 75% of event are instanced. That means we don't stand in anyone's way. You do your own things and we do ours! This decreases the friction between other players, thus creating a more enjoyable environment to play even outside the linkshell. This also ensure that our event time is spent DOING THINGS rather than waiting for monsters to pop, which is lame and boring.

This ensures the linkshell is socialable in both the inside and outside.

The DuckHUNT Friendship

Plenty of us have met each other in real-life. A few of us even took real-life airship to Orlando to meet up for a Vacation =), or NYC, or on their own. We've met up to have beers, bubble tea before, Disneyland (popular one due to Shaya lol), or just chillaxing.

Nearly half of our LS have met someone within the linkshell for at least once.

We believe people behind keyboards should be treated just the same as any other people. Just behind the keyboard doesn't mean you really have to practice your ass-hole skills. We emphasize that and in the end :) We created a warm fuzzy linkshell where people can enjoy their time not just inside the game, but outside the game, to real-life.
